  • Held numerous interim positions with Health Systems, Hospitals and Medical Centers nationwide as CFO, VP Finance, and Controller.

  • Implemented operational improvement plan, saving $3.7m over 6 months. Managed University Hospital System budget totaling more than $750m, and implemented Kaufman Hall Budgeting System. Implemented productivity monitoring system. Developed strategic planning initiatives to support business plan.

  • Decentralized departmental revenue capture, increasing gross revenue by $20m.

  • Performed property, plant and equipment ledger clean-up/retirements ($105m) decreasing average age of plant from 13.2 years to 8.1.

  • Reduced month-end financial closing schedule from ten business days to five.

  • Reduced AR days from 72 to 56, increasing cash flow by more than $4m.

  • Managed the “Due Diligence” process and review for community hospital prior to acquisition by large healthcare system.
